How to do the grounding visualization
Find a quiet place and close your eyes, if it feels comfortable to bring your focus inward.
Take a few deep breathes to relax your body, in through your nose out through your mouth.
Imagine yourself as a tree with strong roots growing out the bottom of your feet. Visualize the roots reaching deep within the earth.
Envision the roots intertwining with the soil & earth's energy. Begin to feel the nourishing energy of Earth coming up through the roots and into your body.
As you inhale, imagine drawing in Earth's energy, and as you exhale, release any tension, stress, or negativity down through your roots and into the Earth to be transmuted.
As you continue the visualization, allow yourself to experience the sensation of being grounded, stable, and supported by the Earth's energy.
Spend a few moments embracing this connection and the feelings of calm and centeredness it brings.
Slowly open your eyes and take a moment to feel gratitude for the Earth's support and the sense of grounding you've cultivated.
Take time to journal your experiences. You can tap into this grounding visualization as often as you feel guided too.
